CEREC® Restoration

CEREC® is a dental restoration system that allows dentists to produce and place custom fit ceramic dental restorations using a variety of computer-assisted technologies. With CEREC®, teeth can be restored in a single sitting with the patient, rather than the multiple sittings required with earlier techniques.

The CEREC® system can produce any permanent, single-tooth ceramic restoration. Crowns, veneers, onlays and inlays can be prepared, using tooth colored ceramic material to restore your teeth to their natural beauty and function. Unlike metals and alloys, ceramic is similar in composition to the natural tooth structure. This means cracking is minimized because it expands and contracts at the same rate as the natural tooth during hot and cold temperature changes while eating and drinking. The materials are chemically bonded to your tooth with less drilling. Dentists are able to save as much healthy tooth structure as possible while providing a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth in minimal time.

Fixed partial dentures, or bridges, fill gaps caused by missing teeth. They can be permanently cemented to existing teeth or removable for cleaning.

Fixed Partial Dentures

Dental bridges are used to fill in the gaps caused by one or more missing teeth.

There are two types of bridges.

Fixed bridges are permanently cemented to existing teeth on either side of the missing tooth or teeth.

Removable bridges can be taken out by the wearer and cleaned.

Bridges can also:

Restore your smile

Restore the ability to properly chew and speak

Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position

Maintain facial structure
